PTC Pacific International School started in
accordance with the sincere wishes of the
parents of the children. It began operation in
1982 until the present. It is a kindergarten
located in Setagaya Ward accepting children from
2.5 years old until 6 years old.
The meaning of
P.T.C. ::
The initials PTC means "Parents, Teachers,
Children".
The educational system for small children,
especially for the infants, is composed of
the Parents, Teachers and the Children. Each
element is essential in the education of the
children because one cannot exist without
the others. These three are very important.
Any change in a child's personality can be
done until he/she turns 6 years old, when
the permanent teeth start coming out. The
parents and the teachers should show good
examples during these formative years.

In PTC, we bring out each child's abilities.
One of which is the child's inner ability.
This inner ability is a main factor that
influences a child's mental development
during the growing-up years. The other
abilities that we try to bring out are the
abilities to express themselves and the
physical abilities. The school's curriculum
is all about making the children exhibit
these good characters and abilities in them.
The children in PTC perform twice a year in
front of an audience composed of parents and
guests. At this time, while watching the
children perform, the parents will be able
to recognize that their child's abilities
has come out. Once these children starts to
show these abilities, they become confident.
You will then have, as their parents, the
impression that [PTC] students are somehow
different from the other children.
